What is HIIT?
High Intensity Interval Training is a revolutionary way of burning body fat and keeping lean muscle. Not only is HIIT more effective at burning fat than long distance running, it takes only a fraction of the time. Have you ever looked at an Olmypic sprinter compared to a long distance marathon runner? The sprinters are typically very muscular while the long distance runners are very thin almost appearing emaciated. Why is this? It is because the types of exercise and conditioning they put their bodies through are radically different. While long distance does an excellent work at burning fat, it also leads to muscle loss.
